Wye Valley Canoes

Glasbury - Hay-on-Wye, 5.5 miles, Estimated time 2-3hrs

Leave the bunkhouse doorstep and paddle straight to Hay-on-Wye for lunch. This is a gorgeous introduction to canoeing on the River Wye. With twists and turns, rapids and beautiful wildlife there is enough to keep the whole boat entertained and smiling. You will leave the boat feeling refreshed from your time on the river. After your paddle, simply call for collection.

Glasbury - Hay-on-Wye - Whitney, 10.5. miles, Estimated time 5-6hrs

Take your time and lose yourself canoeing on the River Wye. Starting in Glasbury the highest navigational point on the River Wye. The first stretch will take you into the famous town of books. Hay-on-Wye, is your half way point and an ideal spot for lunch and refreshments before embarking on the second half of your journey. Leaving Wales you will cross the border into the English countryside, finishing your adventure in Whitney-on-Wye. Landing at The Boat Inn, a lovely pub on the river bank. Bathe in the sun with a drink in your hand and relax while you wait for us to come and collect you.

For the customers who wish to explore the river for a few days rather than a few hours.

Explore all the River Wye has to offer with a multiple day camping expeditions. Using the Bunkhouse as your base, you can explore as much of the River Wye as you like. We will pick you up at the end of your day returning you to the Bunkhouse for a luxury stay, then deliver you back to the selected launch points on the river to continue your trip.
