Our 5 star luxury Bunkhouse can sleep up to 18 guests. Lovingly converted from a grade 2 listed Welsh Chapel. The Bunkhouse is located in Glasbury, only 3 miles from the world famous town of books, Hay-on-Wye.
Designed as a luxury base, from which you can have exceptional adventures. We are in the midst of the Upper Wye Valley with the famous River Wye running parallel to our walls. Leave your front door and paddle down the famous River Wye with the neighbours at Wye Valley Canoes. Explore the uninterrupted Brecon Beacons National Park or Black Mountains, a short drive takes you to the waterfalls of the Elan Valley, walk the Offa’s Dyke Path or take a short drive into the famous Town of Books.

Why take the stairs, when you can slide?
The design brief was luxury with a playful twist. With a unique spiral indoor slide, modern bathrooms, a huge wood burning stove, table tennis table, large TV screen and contemporary furniture we believe we completed the memo. Another big focus was keeping the bunkhouse as low impact on the environment as possible. This has been done by installing a wood pellet boiler and all toilets being flushed by collected rainwater.

Offering 1/2 day trips, full day trips and camping expeditions on the River Wye. Leave your front doorstep and paddle into Hay-on-Wye for lunch.
